You know what they say about rainy days--along with Mondays, they always get you down
Well, not really. Rainy days are great. They make sleeping all day perfect.
Fry gave birth yesterday. I had to sit with her all day while she had her labor pains. She gave birth in one of my cabinets again, which I had 'prepped' for her as her delivery space (lined it with old newspapers and old, stretchy jogging pants).
I swear I'm getting this cat splayed.
Question: When you neuter a female cat, can she still, er, mate?
I don't want to deprive my cat her sexuality. Between the two of us, she has more of a sex life.
*sigh*
Been doing some Sim skinning these past few days. Let's see, I just finished my Glorfindel skin (based on the actor who played the supposed Glorfindel in the ROTK movie, Sandro Kopp--he's a great artist, check out his
website). When I get a decent shot in The Sims game I just might post a pic here (I don't have SimPose). I also have Figwit, the twins Elladan and Elrohir, Eomer, Faramir, and just recently finished Thranduil--you know, Legolas' father ^_^ It's weird, but I based him on Julian Sands, cause I just watched a rerun of one of the
Warlock movies and figured he'd make a great elf. It works ^_^
Anyway, I'm still doing an Eowyn head skin, which keeps getting held up because for the life of me I can't find a decent head mesh for her--you'd think the long, wavy hair style would be relatively easy to find among the hundreds of Sim meshes created out there. But who am I to complain; I can't make my own meshes and I understand how difficult mesh making is.
One of these says if I'm bored enough I just might make my own Sims fansite and let people download my, uh, creations. I have to ask permission from the makers of the meshes (otherwise I'd be stealing) and sifting through all my files and tracking down creators is too much of a bother right now, so I'll have to shelf that project for the time being.
Besides, I'm not even a fairly decent object maker.
But I did make a nice firetree, and a kalachuchi tree, and elanor and niphredil flowers to go with my LOTR themed lots. They turned out nice.
This must be pretty boring to other people who aren't as into the
Sims as I am.
Actually, I like creating stuff more than playing. To spice things up a bit when I play, I try to make my Sims as miserable as possible. I have this household of four Uruk-hai and Saruman
(skins which I downloaded from Mirhagon's site--see my links to the left--which is already a pay site o_0), and they all have really bad attitudes and they keep insulting and poking each other all the time. Regular mayhem, quite fun to watch, and in keeping with how Professor Tolkien generally described orcs and other baddies.
Um, what was the point of this post?
Nothing, really. I'm bored. Oh, wait, yeah, I added some new links under Sim-sational Sim links. Check 'em out, especially The
Simarillion. There're Melkor and Sauron (before his fully armoured gala attire in the FOTR movie) skins there, which I found cute. I immediately downloaded them and got them to live together in the game and they started quite
the relationship, heheheh. Yeah, to add even more spice to my Sims game, I make
yaoi pairings, sometimes unintentionally. I mean, is it my fault when Figwit starts giving Glorfindel a backrub?
Apparently, yes ^_^;;
Driving like a dingbat out of hell or My titles have nothing to do with my posts
I have nothing to write about. My life is , as always, in shambles, the worst of the worst has finally happened and this country is going
kaput.
So how the hell have you been?
I'm going off to Bengki's tonight for a much needed drinking spree. There'll be margaritas, i think. Thank God for the small things in life.

I am such a consumerist. Which may seem ironic for a peso-less existence, but it does make sense, somehow. Everything is just hellish these days, so the simple act of buying something, of acquiring some useless, cute bauble is darn gratifying. You tell yourself you deserve it for putting up with all the shit in your life.
